Peoplehood is a unique parade and celebration that allows participants to express their creativity and civic concerns while taking to the streets in order to represent our city’s greatest strength: its diversity. Celebrating those who live in and work at the forefront of challenging oppression and discrimination, Peoplehood includes a handmade, people-powered parade, with
giant puppets, flags, costumes and banners - everyone is invited to bring their own artwork or performance or carry Spiral Q puppets! The parade is followed by participatory performances in the Clark Park "dog bowl" around 2PM.
