About Peoplehood
Peoplehood is a parade that celebrates and lifts up PEOPLE - particularly those living in and working against oppression.
Organizations, activists, families, and neighbors join together to represent who they are and what they stand for parading with art they've made, as themselves, or joining the art of other folks.

With giant puppets, stilt walkers, costumes, and drum lines, PEOPLEHOOD energizes and unites Spiral Q's diverse communities as folks from all over Philly take to the streets of West Philadelphia.

This year Spiral Q is partnering with ACT-UP Philadelphia, the Shut Down Berks Coalition, and Philly Thrive as part of our new Art for Actions pipeline - creating artwork that elevates their messaging for protests and centers is at the front of the Peoplehood Parade. Join the parade to represent who you are and what you care about and march in solidarity!

Sign your group up for the parade! - represent who you are with a banner and your own artwork, or volunteer to carry puppets in other sections.

Individuals, families and friends can drop in the day of.
