Join us for the second FREE symposium of the Year of W.E.B. Du Bois as we listen together to the words and voices of Paul Robeson, Martin Luther King Jr and W.E.B. Du Bois, fighters for true peace. The event will include art, music and an open discussion of the meaning of peace in this time of perpetual war on our people, both in America and abroad. As Dr. King said, "War is an enemy of the poor." The lives of these moral giants act as models for us in this time of crisis. What actions must we take to fight for positive peace- not just the absence of war, but the presence of justice?
