First monthly meeting of the 2017-18 school year of WE's Immigration Justice Committee.

https://www.facebook.com/events/187315465145295/

Join educators, parents, immigration organizers, and allies to discuss how we can support immigration students in our schools and city. All are welcome- please invite a friend or coworker to come along too!

At this meeting we will be discussing:
-Reflection on the citywide SDP Immigration Trainings (which we successfully campaigned for in the Spring!) and follow-up/next steps.
-How to respond to Trump's DACA Repeal (see our committee's response blog post here: http://www.workingeducators.org/educators_respond_to_daca_repeal)
-How can educators and schools better support and stand in solidarity with the work of immigration justice groups in the city?

Street parking and only 3 blocks from Ellsworth/Federal Stop on the Broad Street Line. Feel free to come late if you can't make it until after 5!

Please email contact@workingeducators.org with any questions.
