The Philadelphia Citizen and The Free Library of Philadelphia's Center for Public Life present a discussion on gentrification: We commonly hear the word “gentrification,” but how does it affect the Kensington, Northern Liberties, Girard, Poplar, and other adjoining neighborhoods?
Long-term neighborhood residents and newcomers alike, as well as anyone interested in civic engagement, are invited to talk about shaping their community into one that serves a greater good for everyone. Explore ideas and work towards actionable steps in a discussion with community advocates and stakeholders.
Also, enjoy samples by local businesses Federal Donuts, Mammoth Coffee and Rustica pizza.
