Each year, Justice in Action brings together legal professionals, law students, and more to raise funds and awareness for Mazzoni Center’s Legal Services program, the only program offering free legal services tailored to the needs of low-income LGBTQ Pennsylvanians.

Our program assists individuals by providing representation, information, and advice that enables them to understand their rights, use the law to protect themselves and their families, and respond to discrimination surrounding their sexual orientation or gender identities.

At this year's Awards Luncheon, we're thrilled to be honor the achievements of Tiffany Palmer, Esq., partner and founding member of Jerner & Palmer, P.C. Nearly twenty years ago, Tiffany became the first attorney of Equality Advocates Pennsylvania/Center for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights, and then became the organization’s first Legal Director. Tiffany’s practice focuses on family formation and dissolution for LGBTQ families using adoption and assisted reproductive technology, in addition to litigation addressing legal parentage and complex family dissolutions. Through her many years of service, Tiffany has made significant contributions that have strengthened the civil rights of LGBTQ individuals and families in Pennsylvania and beyond, and is currently serving as Director of the Family Law Institute of the National LGBT Bar Association.

In our current tumultuous political climate, committed and experienced advocates are needed more than ever to advance and defend the rights of LGBTQ people in Philadelphia, in Pennsylvania, and across the United States.

Please join us in supporting the critically important work Mazzoni Center Legal Services continues to do on behalf of our community.
