Welcome to the Racism in Medicine Conference 2017! The purpose of the conference is to provide a space for people in healthcare or related fields to engage intellectually and practically with the ways that racism affects the health of marginalized people. We want to:
1. Bring together people who are interested in racial justice in healthcare
2. Learn from and teach each other about racism in medicine as well as strategies we can use to oppose its many manifestations
3. Build towards future collaboration in our collective fight for health justice
[REGISTRATION: Please register for the conference here:www.tinyurl.com/RIMC17. Please wait to make travel plans until you receive a confirmation email from us. We anticipate we will reach capacity and have to place some attendees on a waitlist, so RSVP promptly!]
Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any comments, questions or concerns!
