🕯 Rise Up in Light & Beloved Community Vigil 🕯

Connect. Protect. Activate.

In celebration of our third anniversary and our community's amazing power to effect change - Rise Up Doylestown is kicking off 2019 with a weekend of activism, service and solidarity. On Saturday, January 19, 2019 we are asking our marchers to join us in solidarity with the independent, women of color-led, Women's March Philly. Then we'll return to Doylestown and join together after sundown on Saturday for our own candlelight vigil in honor of MLK, racial justice and beloved community.

We ask our marchers to take ownership of their activism and organize or participate in actions that help people in their communities feel safe, included, respected and represented. We also encourage our marchers to take part in the many service projects and community gatherings across Bucks County.

Stay tuned to our event post here for more details about the January 18-21 weekend, and get ready to connect, protect and activate!
