West Philadelphia Mennonite Fellowship and POWER present a public forum for stakeholders — parents, students, teachers, and community members — who want to make change happen.

The panel will include a student, a teacher, and parents from the West Philadelphia area who will speak about conditions in local schools. A representative from Philly Power Research will speak about the impact of the tax abatements on West Philadelphia, and a member of the POWER Education Committee about the statewide fair funding campaign. West Philadelphians will be urged to consider actions steps, including turn-out for the fair-funding rally in Harrisburg on the 12th of June, and an exploratory meeting with local representatives around education issues.
