This is the first of many public forums to be hosted by Represent Central PA. This first event will focus on the corruption of unlimited gifts to elected officials and the Gift Ban bill proposed by March on Harrisburg. The forum will include a forum panel, and the audience will be able to ask questions about corruption. There will also be a workshop on grassroots lobbying and non-violent civil disobedience. (Participants encouraged to bring drinks, snacks or a dish for the intermission period between the forum discussion and the workshops).
We will also encourage participants and local groups against corruption to join a 3-day journey to Harrisburg, beginning in Lancaster on November 10th and ending at the state capitol building on the 12th, to highlight the public outcry against corruption in our state. There will be two days of action in the rotunda on the 13th, 14th.
The forum will be held in the Sanctuary at Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster.
