Why does Trump want to bomb Korea? This timely meeting will discuss the history and current situation in Korea as well as plans here in Philadelphia to resist the growing threat of war.
As Congress increases funding for the military to over $780 billion for next year and the President constantly threatens to use nuclear pre-emptive strikes against north Korea, it is time for the people of the USA to learn more about the real threat of US war against Korea.
While the Winter Olympics brings the possibility of peace and the hope of further talks toward reunification of the Korean peninsula, we know the USA is only moments away from war.
We encourage people to bring their thoughts and questions to this interactive meeting. From this meeting, we hope to plan broader actions to demand an end to US threats in Korea. We also hope to build a broader coalition of organizations and activists willing to take on all US war threats across the world and its impacts here in the USA.
