On February 24, join thousands of working people and our allies standing up for our freedoms and demanding an end to a system that’s rigged against us. We will rise up and fight.
Fight for the freedom to come together in strong unions.
Fight for equitable pay.
Fight for affordable health care.
Fight for quality schools.
Fight for vibrant communities.
Fight for a secure future for all of us.
This event comes one week before the United States Supreme Court will hear oral argument on Janus v. AFSCME Council 31, a case that threatens the labor movement with nationwide “right-to-work.” This is our last chance to make our voices heard by the Supreme Court Justices, and all of America. Attendance of AFSCME Council 13 members is strongly encouraged.
More information is forthcoming regarding buses to the event. Please contact your District Council if you are interested.
There are buses leaving from the AFSCME Conference Center 150 S 43rd St, HBG for the February 24 event in Philadelphia. First-come, first-serve seating is available. Please e-mail or call me if you are interested. My contact info is below.
