The Trump administration has proposed repealing the Clean Power Plan—the first-ever nationwide policy to set limits on global warming pollution from existing dirty power plants and the single largest thing we've done to combat climate change.

Hundreds of Pennsylvanians testified at public hearings in the state during the Clean Power Plan's formulation. But now the Trump administration is not holding any hearings on its repeal in Pennsylvania. We need to show this administration that Pennsylvanians want the Clean Power Plan to remain in place to protect our air and climate.

That's why on Thursday, January 11th, PennEnvironment is partnering with Philadelphia's Office of Sustainability, the Office of CouncilwomanBlondell Reynolds Brown, and Moms Clean Air Force for a Citizens' Hearing on the Clean Power Plan. We want all concerned Pennsylvanians to join us to testify for a couple of minutes about why you want the Clean Power Plan to remain in place. We'll be recording and submitting this testimony to the EPA along with the City of Philadelphia's official comments before the public comment period closes on January 16th. We need as many testimonies as possible to make it clear Pennsylvanians want cleaner air and a safe climate future.
