Our next open strategy meeting for the Philly Medicare for All campaign will take place on Thursday, June 28th from 6-8 pm in the wheelchair accessible Parish Room at the First Unitarian Church. The format of the meeting will be very similar to that of the last meeting, but one of the primary changes is that we will be discussing longer-term planning/goals for the campaign, as well as hearing reports back from the various aspects of the campaign so far.
As part of the meeting, we will be work-shopping next-step campaign ideas to be put up for a vote at the next General Meeting on July 28. Examples include getting a ballot initiative or organizing a town hall with congressional candidates. Anyone who has ideas about what they would like the chapter to do can submit a campaign idea for for discussion at the OSM through The June OSM Campaign Submission Form (see ticket URL). Questions about campaign ideas can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org subject line M4AOSM. All campaign ideas will be due on Monday June 18th. If you decide to submit one, you must be able to attend the open strategy meeting at which it will be discussed and present the idea to all attendees. Once we are closer to the meeting, I'll send out more information clarifying how we will be discussing, debating, and voting on these campaign ideas.
If you have any questions about this, please send an email to email@example.com.
