This webinar is for grassroots activists who are considering running for local Democratic committee.
As a voter and activist, you are already acting at a local level to make the world a better place. As a committee person, you have an important seat at the table around which many candidates are chosen even before they make it to the ballot.
The Democratic Committee person has important responsibilities, including informing neighbors about Democratic platform issues, organizing local Democratic Initiatives, supporting Democratic candidates, and turning neighbors out to vote. The Democratic Committee person also votes (at a county and state level) on endorsing candidates for county and statewide seats, and, if elected to represent the party at the DNC - your vote is one of the few cast to choose the party’s nominee for President.
Join this webinar to learn more about this key role in the democratic process. Not sure if the role is a fit for you? Join us to learn how you can support candidates in your community.
